PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the City of Mesa City Council at Mesa City Hall, 103 Franklin Street, on December 11, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.

The purpose of the public hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Develop.ment Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from lower income persons and persons residing in the City of Mesa.

Up to $1 million may be available to the City of Mesa on a statewide competitive basis to fund public facility, community facility, economic development and affordable housing projects that principally benefit low- and moderate-income persons.

An outline of the proposed Water System Improvements project will be available for review at the Mesa City Hall, at 9:00 a.m. November 30, 2012. Comments may also be submitted in writing to City of Mesa, P.O. Box 146, Mesa WA 99343, by December 11, 2012.

The Mesa City Hall is handicap accessible. Arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs, including handicap accessibility or Spanish interpreter, will be made upon receiving 24-hour advance notice. Contact Terri Standridge at (509)265-4253.
