MOSES LAKE - Four juveniles were arrested Tuesday morning after a Moses Lake police patrol officer spotted them in a stolen vehicle.

Moses Lake Capt. Dave Sands said the officer came upon the vehicle around 9 a.m. before pulling the driver over. All four suspects fled on foot in different directions in the area of West Texas Street and West Peninsula Drive.

Of the four, ages 13-16, three were from Othello and one was from Warden. All were apprehended at different locations after fleeing the 2000 Saturn SL2 four-door vehicle. The vehicle was reported missing from Othello on Monday.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the four were in Moses Lake police custody and expected to be transferred to Grant County Juvenile Detention Center.

Warden Police Chief Rick Martin said the four boys had been persons of interest in other vehicle thefts and a residential burglary in his jurisdiction.

The Othello Police Department had no comment on the case.
