Gary Allan Thaden

Gary Allan Thaden, 72, of Pleasanton died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at the Veterans Medical Center in Omaha. Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Grace Lutheran Church in Pleasanton. Rev. Dean Hanson will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Washington state. Rasmussen Funeral Home in Ravenna is in charge of arrangements.

He was born July 9, 1940 in Kearney, Nebraska to Walter and Mary (Major) Thaden. He was educated in Moses Lake, Washington. He served in the U.S. Navy.

He married Dorothy Rice on August 24, 1964.

He married Mary (Smith) Davey on April 24, 1979.

Survivors include sons, Rick Thaden of Pleasanton and Ron Davey of Overton, daughters, Tina Zamora Thaden of Deming, New Mexico, Trudy Davey Lind of Washington and Tammy Davey Hunt of Morristown, Tennessee; and sisters Beth Gibson and her husband Bob, of Trail, Oregon and Joan Lobie and her husband David, of Moses Lake, Washington.

He was educated in Moses Lake, WA. He served in the U.S. Navy.

He and Dorothy made their home in Deming, New Mexico and Moses Lake.

He and Mary made their home in Moses Lake and Pleasanton, NE.

Gary worked for Midlands Contracting and also worked in Litchfield, NE as a law enforcement officer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother, John.
