US government need to work together

Thanks to the people who voted for Obama and what has to be done. Now the president and Congress need to work together.

So many negative remarks were made and people talked about the election as they voted who they wanted for president. Those who weren't satisfied need to get over it. There are people already hurting. One's going to go into debt for other reasons.

Our government needs to help those in Hurricane Sandy. It will take time and billions of dollars to rebuild for all those who were affected.

To create jobs, we need to manufacture American products. We do not need to funding from education that affects our children.

Our health care affects so many people out there who are not able to get the care they need and who are not able to afford seeking medical attention. People work and put into Social Security, hoping they'll get these benefits because of retirement or health issues. But many are not getting their benefits or what they should receive. My mother never received her benefits and neither did my father, who served his country. Many disabled people do not have coverage for their medical needs.

We, the people, can help each other. Many people have brought up that we are one no matter what race. Our government needs to work as one to resolve the problems our nation faces. Let's help those in need and keep Social Security.
