CBH to host indoor yard sale tomorrow

| November 16, 2012 12:00 PM

MOSES LAKE - The Columbia Basin Herald will host its indoor yard sale tomorrow at the Grant County Fairgrounds.

The publication hosts the sale each spring and fall in order to give back to the community, the Herald's Advertising Manager Bob Richardson said.

Bargain hunters have from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow to rummage through more than 40 booths, all while under the protective roof of the fairgrounds' Commercial Building.

"We do this to bring people together," Richardson said of the event. "Every time we do this it gets bigger and better. It's a huge venue. In fact, I'm able to let people drive into their booths, and then drive back out again."

The Herald rents the entire building out for the day and rents booths for $25 to individual vendors. Booths are available for commercial vendors for $100, as well as vehicles for sale.

Anywhere from 600 to 1,000 people roam up and down the tables.

"We just want to give the yard sale junkies one last hurrah before the cold weather sets in," Richardson said.
