Sheriff promotes new deputies

EPHRATA - Grant County Sheriff Tom Jones has announced promotions and a new hire within his department.
Jones promoted Corporal Mike Crowder to the position of Sergeant. Also promoted was Deputy Darrik Gregg to the position of Corporal.
Both were assigned to patrol and will continue to serve on patrol.
The new hire is Korey Judkins. He was a lateral hire, coming from Royal City Police Department.
These moves were made possible by the retirement of a long-time sergeant and the hiring of a new major crimes detective.
