Royal students of month named for October

ROYAL CITY - Counselor Marge Edwards has announced the Royal High School students of the month for October.
SOM are elected by educational staff from a list of nominations. The qualifications are several character traits, including academics and citizenship.
The senior student of the month is Luis Fernando Valenzuela, son of Luis and Catalina Valenzuela of Royal City. The junior is Collin Christensen, son of Peter and Melanie Christensen of Royal City.
The sophomore student of the month is Roberto Martinez, son of Manuel and Magdalena Martinez of Royal City. The freshman is Wendy Gonzalez, daughter of Brenda Farias Gutierrez and Guillermo Gonzalez of Royal City.
