Nation must decide direction

It has been said that this is the most important election in the history of this nation. I, for one believe that to be true. There has never been a more clear difference in the candidates. Even removing the partisan party label it is very easy to see the differences between the candidates.

We as a nation are faced with a major decision of the direction of this country. We can choose to follow the path of socialism, giving up many of our freedoms and liberties for the false sense of security from the government.

Or we can choose the path of freedom and liberty that our founders put their lives on the line to secure for future generations to enjoy.

Fifty-six men signed the Declaration of Independence. The feeling amongst these men on the day they signed this historic document was that they had signed their death warrant. But they believed that death was better than bondage. They ALL paid a price for signing their name on that document.

This great republic has stood tall and strong for over 200 years, and will continue to do so if we, as Americans, take voting seriously, choose wisely and elect leaders with the vision to keep America great!

We need a leader like Rob McKenna for Governor of this state. He has vision and looks for solutions to our problems and sees ideas for the future. He is truly a principled man.

Mint Romney is a much disciplined individual who also looks to the future for this country. He has ideas and the energy to put them to work. One doesn't have to look far to see the results of his leadership. He will be good for America!

President Reagan in his farewell address stated his vision of America, " ...I've spoken of the shining city all my political life, but I don't know if I ever quite communicated what I saw when I said it. But in my mind it was a tall proud city built on rocks stronger than oceans, wind-swept, God-blessed, and teeming with people of all kinds living in harmony and peace, a city with free ports that hummed with commerce and creativity, and if there had to be city walls, the walls had doors and the doors were open to anyone with the will and the heart to get here. That's how I saw it and see it still...."

Please love this country and respect those who have gone before us enough to vote!
