Harold Eugene Gugin

Harold Eugene Gugin, Sr. was born to Harold Phillip and Margaret Gugin on August 21, 1930 in Clark Township, MI. He was then raised in Michigan by his beloved parents Margaret and Arthur Standridge.

Harold joined the U.S. Air Force in 1947, where he spent 20 years in the Air Force. Harold was stationed throughout several Air Force bases over his career in the military. Harold met Beaulah (Patterson) while stationed in Roswell, New Mexico. The two married and together they had five children. After retiring from the Air Force in 1967, the couple parted ways.

Harold met Constance (Litzenbergs) whom he married in 1977. Together they made a home in the Portland area for 20 years, where he worked and retired from HB Fuller, Co. Harold enjoyed living there and spending every chance he could with his family. He has may memories of trips up and down the Oregon coast, traveling in the motor home and the family vacations in Mossy Rock.

Harold moved back to Michigan to care for his parents, after taking care of them he then moved back to Moses Lake to settle with his family and close friends. Harold has been an active member of the Peninsula Community Church, where he has enjoyed growing closer to the lord. Harold spent his time enjoying his great grandchildren and supporting them in all their activities. Harold was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Harold is survived by his children: Andy, Beaulah Jean, Harold Jr. (Patty), Margaret (Robert Bepple) and Darlene (Eugene Boughter). Nine grandchildren: Jeanie, Thomas Sr., Michelle, Heather, Robert, Kimberely, Sarah, Samantha and Eugene Jr. Nineteen great grandchildren and several extended beloved family members as well.

A memorial service will be held in Harold's honor at the Peninsula Community Church on Saturday, November 3 at 11 a.m.
