Norma L. Rains

Norma L. Rains, 70, of Wenatchee, died Saturday, May 19, 2012.

She was the daughter of Norman and Edna Lybbert and called Moses Lake her home growing up surrounded by a large extended family. She graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1960.

Norma was a longtime Wenatchee Valley resident. Norma and her husband Frank Rains had worked in the fruit industry for many years and she was also the owner/operator of Collectors Gallery in downtown Wenatchee.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Rains of Wenatchee; her children, Nicole Monroe, Eric Monroe, Paul Rains Julie Kangas, and Jill Rains; her brother, Charles Lybbert of Moses Lake; and her sister Pearl McCaskill of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

A memorial gathering will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at the family home, 7405 Highway 97A, Wenatchee. Please share your thoughts, memories and pictures of Norma by emailing normarains2012@hotmail.com
