Crossroads Pregnancy Resource Center to hold FREE Bluegrass Gospel show in Sinkiuse Square

| May 27, 2012 6:00 AM

Moses Lake, Washington - May 15, 2012. Crossroads Pregnancy Resource Center is inviting the community to Sinkiuse Square downtown on Saturday, June 30th, 2012 at 7-9pm. They’re inviting Mike Faast and the Brother’s Keeper Band to perform. Attendees are asked to bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the show.

The reason for the concert is two-fold: first, Crossroads is wanting to get their name out to the community. Their goal is to reach everyone in Grant County so they know exactly who they are and what services they provide. The second reason for the concert is to help defray the cost of the layettes and restocking of the Baby Boutique for the very popular “Earn While You Learn” Parenting Program that Crossroads holds for new parents.

The concert is free to attend but they are requesting attendees to bring a donation of diapers to help “Fill the Crib”. Cash donations will also be accepted. Crossroads also accepts donations throughout the year.

Mike Faast and Brother's Keeper have performed in many venues the last 20 years. Based in the Beautiful Pacific Northwest, the Brother's Keeper Bluegrass Band, has been performing in churches, festivals and town fairs since the 1990's. Led by Northwest band leader, Mike Faast, the band is dedicated to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through their recordings and performances.

The members and their families (Stephen Burwell - fiddle, Terry Enyeart - mandolin/vocals, Mike Faast - guitar/vocals, Mike Ferrel - bass, and Rick Meade - banjo/Dobro/vocals), all live, work, and attend church in the Pacific Northwest.

Christy Youngers, Center Director at Crossroads Pregnancy Resource Center, says, “We are excited for this event and hope the community shows their support by attending. We want to let people know about our community outreach and hope attendees enjoy the show.”
