Fresh News From MarDon: Walleye soon, Bass Tournament Results

On day 2 of the tournament our big fish was caught by the team of Dana Steiner and Andy Smith and weighed in at 7.37 pounds. Dana and Andy took 2nd place in this tournament with a total weight for two days of fishing of 41.41 pounds.

2012 MarDon Open Bass Tournament

Twenty-nine teams of two competed in the first MarDon Open Bass Tournament. On day one, weigh master Dick Hemore reported 19 bass over 5 pounds that were weighed in at the scales.

Our big fish on Saturday was caught by the team of Daniel Boyd and Terry Ballard of Oregon. Theif fish weighed 6.27 pounds.

Congratulations to our top 5 teams who all took home a check for top weights.

1st Place: Aaron Echternkamp & Joe lynch, 41.67 lbs

2nd Place: Dana Steiner & Andy Smith, 41.41 lbs

3rd Place: Kelly Ross & Levi Meseberg, 40.88 lbs

4th Place: Courtney Conklin & Dennis Ohl, 35.09 lbs

5th Place: Jarrid Truner & Paul Hall, 33.48 lbs
