It's time for Crescent Bar season once again

As usual, winter was very quiet at Crescent Bar. Most residents went elsewhere for the cold season.

But they're starting to trickle back in. Actually they started about mid-April.

The Spring Festival at the end of April drew a crowd. Up next is Memorial weekend, and people are sure to overflow.

It's also the start of the printed version season of the Crescent Bar Chronicle. Many of you have been waiting for it.

We will continue online at www.crescentbarchronicle.com.

As usual, we ask you to help us fill the Chronicle. Call me at 509-952-7189 or email me at tedescobar@aol.com with your ideas and suggestions.

If you're not sure what you have is news, call or email. Give me a chance to decide. You never know.

Even a game of marbles could be news. Depends on who's playing.

I realize that what you're waiting to hear mostly is the latest on the Islanders-vs-PUD lawsuit. Sorry to say, I don't know much more than you.

That's because my Islander sources who are party to the suit are being pretty tight-lipped. Things are going well for them, and they are being careful not to blab a stupidity that could irk Federal Judge Justin Quackenbush or be used against them by the PUD.
