Reader urges organ donation

The gift of an organ is the most precious gift one human can give to another. My grandson has Cystic Fibrosis and received a double lung transplant last month. He took his first deep breath yesterday. The emotion of that event was over welling.

We take taking deep breaths as a common event but that was his first in the last 25 years. Another reason it was over welling is because of the thankfulness directed to the unselfish gift of the organ donor.
