FAIRGROUNDS SEWAGE ENGINEERING EVALUATION

Grant County is seeking to contract with a certified engineer or engineering firm for the purpose of receiving a technically sound engineering evaluation of the onsite sewage systems located at the Grant County Fairgrounds near Moses Lake, Washington.
The County will enter into a professional services agreement with an individual and/or firm to be selected as part of this RFQ process. The purpose of the agreement will be to implement the engineering requirements for the Fairgrounds sewage system which will encompass the following: (1) inspection/evaluation of the Fairgrounds onsite sewage systems; (2) provision of an updated inventory/list of all onsite septic sewage systems and drain fields; (3) preparation and provision of systems drawings showing major components; (4) provision of an evaluation report with recommendations of findings for each onsite sewage system; (5) preparation and provision of an Operation and Maintenance Manual for the onsite sewage systems; (6) preparation of a Flow Monitoring Plan for reporting purposes; (7) provision of a water meter installation design; and (8) the provision of general construction engineering services.
Requests for Qualifications may be obtained beginning Monday, May 21st at:
(1) The office of the Grant County Board of County Commissioners located at 35 C Street NW in Ephrata, Washington; or
(2) From the Grant Website at www.grantcountyweb.us.
The deadline for qualifications is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 25th, 2012. An original proposal and three (3) photocopies must be submitted as shown below in a sealed envelope clearly marked with project title: "Grant County Fairgrounds Sewage Engineering Evaluation Qualifications". Late proposals and/or proposals submitted via e-mail or facsimile will not be accepted.
