This 9.2 pound lunker was caught by team mates Todd Priddy and Jeb Race, both from Deer Park.

The 2012 Rod Meseberg Spring Walleye Classic was a great success. This year we had 66 teams participate in this fishing tournament. We only had 1 team report no fish caught on the first day of competition, which is really low. So overall we had wonderful weather and fishing all weekend.

We also had a really nice 9.2 lb walleye that was our big fish. This lunker was caught by team mates Todd Priddy and Jeb Race, both from Deer Park.

Our 2012 winners are Mark and Shirley Olson with 33.22 lbs. They travel from Olympia every year to fish our tournament.

On Saturday morning May 12 we are releasing our trout we have been feeding all winter. So come out and enjoy a day of free dock fishing at MarDon Resort. Remember children fishing off the dock 12 and under need a life jacket. If you have any questions please call 1-800-416-2736.

Cabelas is having the fish for millions contest again on Potholes Reservoir, and some other lakes as well. For more information and detail on the contest please visit their website: www.cabelas.com/fishformillions.
