TOURISM BUS

Reader encourages different tourism solution

I found the comment made regarding the published article relating to the bus tour sponsored by the Moses Lake Tourism Commission extremely interesting, and I wanted to share it with our local residents: I couldn't help but do the math....34 people at $75=$2,550.00...Really? Given the current economical hardship, one can't help but recall one of Economics 101 theories 'Supply & Demand'. Cost goes down, demand goes up....Perhaps local folks could get out more to enjoy all the geological splendors and "..different phenomena.." If cost was not avalanching the demand. That being the case; our own regional residents could function as the customer representative. Imagine, if you will, cutting costs of $2,550.00 for every 34 people just by making things more affordable for our tax payers in Moses Lake .....A Win-Win situation for all! I'm just saying.......
