NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there has been proposed to the Franklin County Planning Commission an application by Brent Preston, 502 E Vineyard Drive, Pasco, WA 99301 for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment CPA 2012-01.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there has been proposed to the Franklin County Planning Commission an application by Brent Preston, 502 E Vineyard Drive, Pasco, WA 99301 for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment CPA 2012-01. Said application is to amend the Comprehensive Land Use Plan Map for approximately 78 acres of land. The amendment would change the land from Agricultural to Rural Activity center which focuses on activities that are commercial in nature.

In addition to a proposed change to the Comprehensive Land Use Map, additional modifications to Table 25 (Franklin County Land Use Breakdwon) and to the Rural Lands Chapter (Rural Activity Centers) are also necessary.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Portion of Farm Unit 49, Irrigation Block 17 and portion of SW 1/4 of Section 29, Township 10 North, Range 30 East, W.M. Franklin County, Washington.

NON-LEGAL DESCRIPTION: The 78 acres is located at the southeast intersection of E Vineyard Drive and Highway 395 near site address 502 E Vineyard Drive in Franklin County, WA (Portions of parcel number(s) 124-660-039, 124-660-037, 124-660-060, and 124-660-058).

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that said application will be considered by the Franklin County Planning Commission in an open record public hearing on June 5, 2012 at the hour of 7:00 p.m. in the Franklin County Courthouse, Commissioners Meeting Room, 1016 North 4th Avenue, Pasco, WA 99301. All concerned may appear and present any support for or objections to the applications.
