NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there has been proposed to the Franklin County Planning Commission an application by the City of Pasco, 525 N 3rd Avenue, Pasco, WA 99301 for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment CPA 2012-02.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there has been proposed to the Franklin County Planning Commission an application by the City of Pasco, 525 N 3rd Avenue, Pasco, WA 99301 for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment CPA 2012-02. Said application is to add approximately 125 acres (9 parcels) of land to the City of Pasco’s Urban Growth Area Boundary. The current Comprehensive Plan designation for the land is both Rural Remote and Agricultural. The applicant wishes to designate the land as Industrial within the Urban Growth Area Boundary.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Portion of NE quarter of Section 8, Township 9 North, Range 30 East, W.M. Franklin County, Washington.

NON-LEGAL DESCRIPTION: The 125 acres is located 660 feet south and southeast of the intersection of East Foster Wells Road and Capital Avenue in Franklin County, WA (Parcel number(s) 113-130-415, 113-130-335, 113-130-344, 113-130-353, 113-130-362, 113-130-371, 113-303-380, 113-130-399, and 113-130-406).

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that said application will be considered by the Franklin County Planning Commission in an open record public hearing on June 5, 2012 at the hour of 7:00 p.m. in the Franklin County Courthouse, Commissioners Meeting Room, 1016 North 4th Avenue, Pasco, WA 99301. All concerned may appear and present any support for or objections to the applications.
