Notice of Application and Public Hearing

Tacos Mi Casa - Guadalupe Madrigales, submitted an application for a site plan review and conditional use permit on April 26, 2012.  The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on May 3, 2012. The proposal is to place a 288 square foot building for a drive up taco stand in the Heavy Industrial Zone at 13240 Wheeler Road, legally described as Parcel B of the Maiers Industrial Park 2nd Major Plat Lot 1 Block 1, Industrial Binding Site Plan.  The project has been determined to be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan, and the following development regulations are applicable to the project:  Moses Lake Municipal Code (MLMC) Title 14: Environmental Regulations, Title 16: Buildings and Construction, Title 18: Zoning, and Title 20: Development Review Process.

The Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on June 14, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 401 Balsam Street.  All interested persons are encouraged to attend and provide comment.  

Written comments on the environmental impacts of this proposal will be accepted until 5:00 p.m on May 21, 2012. Written comments on other aspects of this proposal will be accepted up to the date of the public hearing.  In addition, persons who want to be informed of  future actions or the final decision on this proposal should provide their name and address to the project planner listed below.  The final decision on this proposal will be made within 120 days of the date of the notice of completeness and may be appealed according to the City appeal provisions specified in Moses Lake Municipal Code 20.11, Appeals.  For more information, contact Billie Jo Muñoz at (509)764-3751.  Submit written comments to Billie Jo Muñoz, Assistant Planner, City of Moses Lake Community Development Department, 321 S.
