Blue Heron Park Major Plat: The City of Moses Lake Municipal Services Department submitted an application for a major subdivision and shoreline permit on April 30, 2012.  The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on May 4, 2012.  The proposal is a one-lot plat of 76.5 acres, including the existing developed park and the undeveloped City property to the north. No development is proposed at this time.  The site is east of Westshore Drive and north of I-90, in the Public Zone.  Parcel #s are 11-0065-006 & -007.  The project has been determined to be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan, and the following development regulations are applicable to the project: Moses Lake Municipal Code (MLMC) Title 14: Environmental Regulations, Title 17: Subdivisions, Title 19: Growth Management, & Title 20: Development Review.

The Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on June 28, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, Civic Center, 401 Balsam Street.  All interested persons are encouraged to attend and provide comment.  

Written comments on the environmental impacts of this proposal will be accepted until June 6, 2012.  Written comments on other aspects of this proposal will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on the date of the public hearing.  Persons who want to be informed of future actions, or the

final decision, on this proposal should provide their name and address to the project planner.  The final decision on this proposal will be made within 120 days of the date of the notice of completeness and may be appealed according to the City appeal provisions specified in MLMC 20.11, Appeals.  For more information call Anne Henning at 764-3747.  Submit written comments by mail to City of Moses Lake Community Development Department, P.O.
