NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Grant County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) in the Commissioners' Hearing Room located on the 2nd floor of the Grant County Courthouse at 35 C Street NW in Ephrata, Washington, on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 3:00 p.m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Grant County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) in the Commissioners' Hearing Room located on the 2nd floor of the Grant County Courthouse at 35 C Street NW in Ephrata, Washington, on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 3:00 p.m.

The purpose of the public hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from low and moderate income persons and persons residing in the Grant and Adams County areas.

$131,042.00 will be available to Opportunities Industrialization Center of Washington (OIC of WA) to fund public service activities that principally benefit low and moderate income persons.

The draft application for the CDBG Public Service Grant proposal will be available for review at the Grant County Commissioners office on  May 14thth and afterwards.  Comments may also be submitted in writing to:

Comments on the County's and OIC of WA performance and use of their 2011/2012 CDBG Public Service Grant award will also be received.

A Spanish language interpreter will be available at the public hearing. The Commissioners' Hearing Room is handicap accessible, with elevator access from the first floor of the Courthouse to the second floor.  Additional arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs will be made upon receiving 24-hour advance notice.
