Notice is hereby given that a Building Permit application was received on March 30, 2012 and a SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on April 23, 2012 from the Marlin Hutterian Brethren, 21344 NE Rd 18, Marlin, WA 98832 (Designated Contact: Paul Harrington, 3421 S. Henry Rd, Greenacres, WA 99016, (509) 714-6301), was found to be technically complete on May 1, 2012.

Notice is hereby given that a Building Permit application was received on March 30, 2012 and a SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on April 23, 2012 from the Marlin Hutterian Brethren, 21344 NE Rd 18, Marlin, WA 98832 (Designated Contact: Paul Harrington, 3421 S. Henry Rd, Greenacres, WA 99016, (509) 714-6301), was found to be technically complete on May 1, 2012. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal utilizing the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may be the only opportunity to
comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon request. PROJECT: The removal of three (3) existing fuel tanks and placement of four (4) 20,000 gallon above ground fuel/oil storage tanks on a concrete pad surrounded with a 6' chain link fence and 6" concrete/steel bollards. The project also includes the enlargement of the concrete containment area, with a containment capacity of 6800 gallons and drains to a 2000 gallon oil/water separator. The proposal is located on an approx. 158 acre parcel. ZONING: Agriculture. ADDITIONAL PERMITS REQUIRED: Building Permits. STUDIES SUBMITTED: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. LOCATION: The project site is located at 21344 Rd 18 NE, Marlin, WA. Located approximately 1/4 of a mile east of the intersection of Rd 18 NE and Rd U NE, in a portion of Section 34, Township 22 North, Range 30 East, W.M., Grant County, WA (Parcel #18-1603-000) Copies of application materials (File #12-5678) are available from Dorothy Black, Grant County Planning Department, 457 1st Avenue NW, PO Box 37, Ephrata, WA 98823, (509)754-2011, ext. 620.
