Coroner confirms body that of Toya
MOSES LAKE - The body of a man found in Potholes Reservoir Monday has been confirmed to be that of Dan Toya.
Grant County Coroner Craig Morrison released the results of an autopsy performed Tuesday in which he determined the 64-year-old Moses Lake resident died from fresh water drowning.
The manner of death is officially listed as an accident.
Toya and his dog, Molly, were missing since Dec. 23. The dog's body was found in the reservoir Sunday and Toya's body was found near the north shore west of Samson's Beach at about 4 p.m. yesterday.
