Carolyn V. Edwards

| March 29, 2012 6:00 AM

Carolyn V. Edwards, our beautiful, kind and gracious wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend was welcomed into Heaven on Monday, March 26, 2012 her loving family at her side. Please sign the online guestbook or leave a note for the family at www.kayserschapel.com Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake.

Carolyn was born to Harriett & Carl Spence, April 6, 1935. She lived in Indianola, Iowa until 1950, when the family moved to San Diego, CA. On May 29, 1962, Carolyn began 50 beautiful years of marriage with the love of her life, and comforter, Frederick Gene Edwards. They were blessed with three wonderful children, Kim, Kelly, and Frederick.

Carolyn will be remembered for her faith and love of God; her love for Gene; and the unconditional love for her children and grandchildren. All of us are so blessed to have had a life with her. Her life provided us with lessons of love, lessons of courage and strength, the gift of laughter, and her many sparkles (kisses). Her positive outlook and ability to always move forward, even through her life-long illness, remains a constant reminder for all who knew her to never give up and always trust the ways of the Lord. Through her trust and faith she remembered the words "Let all who are weary come home" and now she is home.

Carolyn enjoyed her many friends, and the wonderful memories and time spent with each of them. The family thanks you for the joy you brought in to her life.

Carolyn is survived by all of her loving family; her husband, Gene Edwards; her three children, Kim (Peter) Padilla, Kelly (Bob) Johnston, Frederick (Kristin) Edwards; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn Vinson and Jane (John) Doughty, and sister-in-law Sharon (Jerry)Tate. She is further survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Special thanks and gratitude are extended to the staff of Assured Hospice. A special thank you to Tina, Gabby, and Paul for their compassion, support, and love they provided to Carolyn and her family.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Assured Hospice, 1417 Pioneer Way, Moses Lake, WA 98837.
