Reader discusses presidential race

Our presidential candidates need to focus on the real issues our country faces. We're in debt because of these bailouts. This effected people all over in raising taxes, gas prices. We bring religion about birth control. I believe contraceptives and abortion is a freedom of choice. Congress needs to work together with our president on all issues our government faces. Our Constitution is slowly being changed throughout history. We're taught one nation, one race. We used to be the land of opportunity. Let's focus on the real issues: immigration, health care, economy. People all over the world are hurting. Our children's future is at risk. So much talk in Congress and no action. We, the people, voted them in office for the people and know we'll pay the price. There's so much blame, pointing fingers. Are these the people we want in office? Are people really listening to these debates? Only issues I see are focused on removing President Obama. We're a world of so many races. In school, we're taught we're all alike. Why those in Congress and leaders all over the world, can't come to agreement. So much killings and wars, innocent lives throughout the years. We need to practice what we preach. We're all created equal. We're different in many ways but we bleed the same color.
