Reader wants new priorities

Let me get this straight: Our economy is terrible. Our debt is almost 16 trillion dollars. 1 in 6 Americans are on food stamps. The average salary has dropped 3.6 percent. The real unemployment rate is 17 percent. The price of gas has doubled since 2009. Inflation is taking off drastically. I sure am glad our President has time to do his yearly college basketball brackets on ESPN, spend 500,000 tax dollars to go to a play-in basketball game in Ohio, and make a personal phone call to a college coed to assure her she would not have to pay for her birth control pills any more! Just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy doesn't it? We can no afford four more years. Voters need to educate themselves this time!
