Fatal house fire reported Sunday

MOSES LAKE - A body was found Sunday after a house fire was extinguished.

The house fire was reported at 12:05 a.m. Sunday on Road J SE in Moses Lake.

Grant County Fire District 5 and Grant County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the call.

After the fire had been extinguished, a body was found inside the manufactured home. The body was turned over to the Grant County Coroner and an autopsy is planned for early this week, according to a statement from the Grant County Sheriff's Office.

The home was destroyed and the fire is under investigation. As yet, no cause for the blaze has been identified.
