NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a petition filed March 7, 2012, with the Board of Directors of the South Columbia Basin Irrigation District by Jubilant LLC, the holder of title to all the land hereinafter described, praying that the following described land be included within the District:
All of the Southeast Quarter of Section 12, Township 14 North, Range 31 East, W.M., records of Franklin County, Washington. (Tax Parcel No. 109-480-028)
All of that portion of Section 13, Township 14 North, Range 31 East, W.M., records of Franklin County, Washington, EXCEPT the East 30 feet of said Section and lying Easterly of the Easterly right-of-way line of Burlington Northern Railroad Company, formerly Northern Pacific Railway Company, and Westerly of the following described line:
Beginning at a point on the South line of said Section, 2,927.2 feet West of the Southeast corner of said Section; thence North 19° 56' West 295.3 feet; thence North 24° 29' West 362.5 feet; thence North 10° West 137 feet; thence North 55° 13' East 75.1 feet; thence North 66° 43' East 226 feet; thence North 40° 13' East 874.2 feet; thence North 40° East 228.7 feet; thence North 54° 19' East 86.1 feet; thence North 50° 44' East 948.6 feet; thence North 21° 14' East 604.5 feet; thence North 21° 36' East 128.9 feet; thence North 40° 15' East 703.4 feet; thence North 40° 25' East 302.7 feet; thence North 40° 33' East 148.9 feet; thence North 88° 23' East 132.6 feet; thence North 89° 06' East 100.9 feet; thence South 28° 33' East 148.4 feet; thence South 28° 28' East 143.3 feet to a point on the West line of the East 30 feet of said Section, which point is 30 feet West and 3,776 feet North of the Southeast corner of said Section. All of Section 7, Township 14 North, Range 32 East, W.M., EXCEPT that portion thereof deeded to the State of Washington for highway purposes by deed recorded in Volume 97 of Deeds, page 448 and EXCEPT Myers Road, all in the records of Franklin County, Washington. (Tax Parcel Nos. 106-430-015, 106-430-016, and 106-430-017)
The Southwest Quarter of Section 8, Township 14 North, Range 32 East, W.M., EXCEPT a portion thereof deeded to the State of Washington for highway purposes by deed recorded in Volume 97 of Deeds, page 448, records of Franklin County, Washington. (Tax Parcel No. 106-440-031)
That portion of Government Lots 1 and 2 and the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 18, Township 14 North, Range 32 East, W.M., records of Franklin County, Washington, lying Northerly of the following described line: Beginning at a point 30 feet West from the Southeast corner of Section 13, Township 14 North, Range 31 East, W.M.; thence North on a line parallel to and 30 feet West of the East line of said Section 13, a distance of 3,776 feet to the true point of beginning; thence turning an angle of 153° right and running Southeasterly 500 feet; thence turning an angle of 63° 30' left and running Easterly 680 feet; thence turning an angle of 80° 25' left and running Northeasterly 770 feet; thence turning an angle of 47° right and running Northeasterly 620 feet; thence turning an angle of 33° 30' right and running Easterly to the East line of the Northwest Quarter of Section 18 and point of terminus of said line. All persons interested in or that may be affected by such inclusion of the land described above are hereby notified to appear at the office of the Board at 1135 E. Hillsboro, Suite A, Pasco, Franklin County, Washington, at 10:00 a.m., April 12, 2012, this being the regular meeting of the Board next after the last date of publication of this Notice of Hearing, and show cause in writing, if any they have, why such land should not be included within the District as prayed for in the petition.
