Red Rock has annual talent show

ROYAL CITY - For the last 15 years Red Rock Elementary has held an annual talent show to shake off the mid-winter blahs.
Thursday Feb. 16 performers from first through fifth grade entertained the student body, staff, community members and parents in an hour-long assembly that featured 21 acts and 62 performers.
This year's show featured singers, dancers, pianists, hula-hoopers/jump-ropers and a gymnast.
The crowd clapped along with many of the artists and reacted with awe at some of the talent, gasping at various points in the show.
Red Rock Principal Theresa Eilers believes the talent show dates back to 1997. Every year there are many acts that wow the audience, and this year's show was no different, she said.
