Reader congratulates fundraiser winner

During the month of February the Michael's restaurants managers had a challenge as to which business could raise the most money for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life!

They had many different events all month including music by Free Beer Nuts at the Bistro and 'Celebrity Servers' at Michael's on the Lake and bonus drawings.

The Moses Lake community's support was amazing with over $6,300 raised in the fight against cancer. Congratulations to Jordan and the Michael's on the Lake crew for winning the challenge though the Bistro crew says bring it on for next year!

Special thanks to the celebrity waiters: Sheriff Tom Jones, Brant Mayo, Carolann Swartz, Michelle Price, Debbie Martinez and Dave Heaverlo, what a fun evening!
