Reader supports law change

Chiropractic is not perfect - there are survivors. The questions is should we allow Ron Covey to practice his craft on the political process.

Ron confuses political with economic reality. He equates voting with owning a share of stock. That is just the thing the founding fathers tried to prevent. Ron supports the tyranny of the 20 - 20 voters who cast 2,028 votes.

But suppose you run against Ron. Suppose you don't like the tyranny of the 20 and you say so. Zap - you just lost 2,028 votes or a good share of them. No, the 20 are not a monolith, I know some of them that want the law changed too, but you get the point. Oppose the 20 super-voters and you sink like the dredge.

Ron Covey figured this out long ago. He's got his foot on the loud pedal but his heart is elsewhere.

Senator Holmquist Newbry is trying to fix this mess. She doesn't face super-voters running for the Senate, thankfully.
