Mattie Emma "Sis" Baumgardner

Mattie Emma "Sis" Baumgardner, 82,  passed away with her family by her side on June 25, 2012 at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake.  Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 29, 2012 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 516 E. Nelson Road, Moses Lake with a reception to follow.  Please sign the online guestbook or leave a note for the family at www.kayserschapel.com. Sis was born on April 3, 1930 in Seminole, Oklahoma to William and Myrtle Ppool. She was the baby "sis"ter to eight brothers and

sisters. She grew up in Oklahoma and on May 29, 1947 she married Forest "Fuzzy" Baumgardner. They had their first daughter, Pam, the following year. They moved to Moses Lake in 1952 where they had two more daughters, Penny and Patti.  Sis enjoyed bowling, camping, boating and dinner every Sunday with her whole family. She knew the Lord and was a charter member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.  Fuzzy preceded her in death in 1995.

Sis is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Ron Sumner, Penny and Bart Whitaker and Patti and Arthur Ingalls; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Brandi Sumner and her children, KoDee, KyLee and Kade Forest; Wade and Liz Sumner; Quintz and Julie Whitaker and their children, Alissa, Jenna and Kason; Jared and Karin Whitaker and their children, Emma, Isaac and Sadie; Ty Forest and Alissa Whitaker and their daughter, Mattie; Brooke Whitaker; Jae and Blaire Chandler and their children Johnny, Madison and Valen; Barrett Ingalls and his fiancé, Vianey, and Keiyn Forest Ingalls.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sis's memory to the Youth Fund at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 516 E. Nelson Road, Moses Lake, WA 98837.
