Drug busts abound at Sasquatch Fest

EPHRATA – The Grant County’s Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team (INET) was kept busy with several drug-related arrests during the Sasquatch Festival at the Gorge Amphitheater over the 2012 Memorial Day weekend.
The count was:
• Seven adults arrested and booked into Grant County Jail.
• 25 felony charges, a majority being possession with intent and delivery of a controlled substance
• Seven search warrants done: 3 vehicles and 4 tents
• $27,133 total cash seized.
• Two vehicles seized.
The drugs bought and seized included marijuana, cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, LSD, synthetic methamphetamine (street name "Molly"), ecstasy, and ketamine (a veterinary anesthetic, street name “Special K”).
All of the buys were made by undercover detectives. Several of the investigations are ongoing.
