Franklin County is seeking applicants to serve on the Hanford Advisory Board (HAB).

Franklin County is seeking applicants to serve on the Hanford Advisory Board (HAB).  One member and one alternate will be recommended jointly by Grant County and Franklin County to the United States Department of Energy who will make the appointments.

Duties. The members of the HAB assist the Washington State Department of Ecology, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy (also referred to as the Tri-Party Agencies) to develop consensus policy recommendations and advise in regards to the short-and long-term Hanford cleanup.  Meetings are held 5 times per year in the Tri Cities area and last for two days (Thursday and Friday).  Per Diem may apply.  The position provides no other compensation.
