Notice of Application and Public Hearing

Paul Kirkendall submitted an application for a Shoreline Exemption and C-R Zone Conditional Use Permit on May 11, 2012 the application was modified on May 30, 2012.  The application was determined to be substantially complete and ready for review on June 25, 2012.  The proposed project location is 1102 Eastlake.  The proposal is to install a dock, boatlift, and pathway to the dock.  The project has been determined to be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and the following Development Regulations are applicable to the project:  City of Moses Lake Municipal Code Title 18 Zoning, Title 14 Environmental Regulations, and Title 20 Development Review Process; City of Moses Lake Shorelines Management Master Plan.

The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing for this project at 7:00 pm, July 26, 2012 in the City Council Chambers located at 401 S. Balsam.  All interested parties are encouraged to attend and make comment.

Comments on this proposal from public agencies with jurisdiction and comments on the environmental impacts of this proposal will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on July 9, 2012.  Comments on other aspects of this proposal from the general public will be accepted up to the date of the public hearing.  Public comment may be provided up to the date of the public hearing.  In addition, persons who want to be informed of future actions or the final decision on this proposal should provide their name and address to the project planner listed below.  The final decision on this proposal will be made within 120 days of the date of the notice of completeness and may be appealed according to the City appeal provisions specified in Moses Lake Municipal Code 20.11, Appeals.  For more information, contact Billie Jo Muñoz at (509)764-3751.  Submit written comments to Billie Jo Muñoz, Assistant Planner, City of Moses Lake Community Development Department, 321 S.
