| June 23, 2012 6:00 AM

Mrs. Marion Elizabeth "Betty" Wurzer, beloved wife of the late Gerald Wurzer, passed away peacefully in Lethbridge on June 14, 2012 with her family by her side.

Betty is survived by her children, Sharon (Jerry) Cash of Lebanon, Oregon, Randy (Brenda) Wurzer of Lethbridge, Alberta, Karol (Perry) Miller of Coaldale, Alberta, Connie (Rick) French of Lethbridge, Alberta and Greg (Kathy) Wurzer of Warden, Washington. She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, niece Diana (Hans) Hulstein and family, and nephew Bill (Char) Hutton and family. Betty was pre-deceased by her husband Gerald and her son Edward in 2010.

Gerald and Betty raised their family in Warden Washington and had retired back to Lethbridge in 1992. Betty was employed for many years at the Lep-Re-Kon Mart and Washington Potato in the office before retiring back to Lethbridge. Besides being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother, Mom was a good friend to all whom knew her. She enjoyed making ceramics, reading, going to the casino, playing on her computer and weekend shopping trips to Great Falls. Mom was also known for her great cabbage rolls.

We little knew that morning,

God was going to call your name,

In life we loved you dearly,

In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

You did not go alone.

For part of us went with you

The day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories,

Your love is still our guide.

And though we cannot see you,

You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken,

And nothing seems the same,

And nothing seems the same,

But as God calls us one by one,

The chain will link again.

As per Betty's request, there will be no funeral service. Flowers are gratefully declined. Those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Jack Ady Cancer Centre, 960 19 St. S, Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 1W5.

Rest in peace Mom. We will always love you. Give Dad and Eddy a hug from all of us.
