Hanford Board needs member

EPHRATA - The GC Board of Commissioners is looking for one interested citizen of Grant County to fill an open position on the Hanford Advisory Board (HAB).

The members of the HAB assist the Washington State Department of Ecology, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy to develop consensus policy recommendations and advice in regards to the short-and long-term Hanford cleanup.

Meetings are held 5 times per year in the Tri-Cities area and last for 2 days. Per diem may apply.

Letters of interest will be accepted until Friday, June 29, at 4 p.m. at: Grant County Commissioners Barbara J. Vasquez, clerk of the board, 35 C Street NW Ephrata 98823.
