Robert John Gent

Robert John (Bob) Gent of Lake Stevens passed away June 15, 2012. Bob was born September 10, 1927 in Rosalind, Alberta and lived in Rosalind and Vancouver, B.C. before entering the U.S. Navy in November 1945. His career as a Damage Control Chief spanned 20 years and he retired at the rank Master Chief.

Bob and his family settled in Moses Lake WA where he and his wife Vicky raised 6 children and where he had a successful business as an independent insurance agent.

Bob and Vicky retired to Las Vegas in 1993 and then moved to Lake Steven in 2005 to be near some of their children. Bob is survived by his wife, Donna (Vicky) Gent, of 56 years, his six children, 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

His family appreciates the kind thoughts and prayers they have received at Bob's passing. He was much beloved and was his family's strength and guide. His humor, wisdom and love will always be in our hearts.
