Notice is hereby given that a Preliminary Short Plat application received by Grant County on June 7, 2012 from Bowman Land Company, LLC (Designated Contact:  Gilbert C. Bailey, Columbia NW Engineering, 249 North Elder Street, Moses Lake, WA 98837, 509-766-1226), was found to be technically complete on June 12, 2012.

    Notice is hereby given that a Preliminary Short Plat application received by Grant County on June 7, 2012 from Bowman Land Company, LLC (Designated Contact:  Gilbert C. Bailey, Columbia NW Engineering, 249 North Elder Street, Moses Lake, WA 98837, 509-766-1226), was found to be technically complete on June 12, 2012.  PROJECT:  A Short Plat of approximately 78.97 acres in order to create two (2) lots from one existing parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County.  As proposed, Lot 1 will be approximately 2.38 acres in size, with an existing single-family residence, garage, two storage structures, well, and septic system.  Lot 1 will continue to be used for residential and agricultural purposes.  Lot 2 will be approximately 71.40 acres in size, and will continue its present agricultural use.  STUDIES REQUIRED:  None.  LOCATION:  The site address of the subject parcel is 956 Adams Rd. NW, Quincy, WA.  It is located approximately 4 miles east of George, WA, and southwest of the intersection of Interstate 90 and Adams Rd. NW, and in the NE quarter of Section 35, Township 19 North, Range 24 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #20-1456-000).  PRESENT ZONING:  Agriculture.  PUBLIC HEARING:  None.  CONSISTENCY STATEMENT:  This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code.  Copies of application materials (File #12-5697) are available from Rick Rettig, Grant County Planning Department, 457 1st Avenue NW, PO Box 37, Ephrata, WA 98823, (509)754-2011, ext. 622.  Office hours:  8 am-12 noon, 1-5 pm, M-F.  Comments must be submitted to the Planning Department no later than 5 pm on July 6, 2012.  Comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, hand-delivered, or sent by facsimile.  All persons, agencies, or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and/or appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code.  This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
