Harris, Riddle tie atop men's golf

CRESCENT BAR – Tom Harris and Jerry Riddle shot matching 66s on June 6 to tie for the top spot in Crescent Bar Golf Course men's day competition.

Play for the day was individual low net, played in two divisions. There were long puty contests on holes Nos. 9 and 18.

George Phelps won 3rd place with a net score of 68.

In the second division, Don McGinnis won first place with a net sore of 66. Jerry Hoene and Al Barnes tied for second place with net scores of 68.

First place in the long putt contest went to Al Barnes when he sank one of 13-12. Russ Larson dropped a putt of 4-8 to take second place.
