Honors advisor surprised with award

MOSES LAKE - Members of the Phi Theta Kappa, the Honor Society at Big Bend Community College, surprised their advisor Barbara Whitney with an award thanking her for her support of the program.

Whitney has been advisor for 16 years, and has the club involved in many activities, more than 70 community projects and programs in 2011-12 alone.
