One hour of trout fishing at Warden produced the rainbows for Soap Lake Residents, Taylor and Mona Pokos.

MARDON RESORT - The Potholes Recreation Area has been seeing cooler than average temperatures.  Many days of wind and rain have stopped even our local walleye and bass fishers from getting out on the water.  The water level on Potholes Reservoir is near high pool.  With new June heat and increasing farming irrigation, the water level will drop rapidly.

Good trout trolling for rainbow to 4 lbs. has been reported from the Medicare Beach Area on Potholes Reservoir.

Warden Lake has produced limits for shore fishers using power bait.

This upcoming weekend the 2012 Washington Bow Fishing Championship is taking place on Potholes Reservoir.  This event is open to the public but you must be registered by 8 p.m. on Friday June 15.  For more information please visit their website www.washingtonbowfishing.com or call MarDon Resort 1-800-416-2736.

Happy Father's Day to all those fathers out there!  Take some time out of your day to go fishing, and if you are looking for a great meal, stop by MarDon Resort's Beach House Restaurant.
