Area veteran to speak at historical society meeting

EPHRATA – WWII veteran Oliver Furman of Ephrata will be the featured speaker at the Grant County Historical Society luncheon on Tuesday, June 12.

Furman will elaborate on a trip for honored WWII and Vietnam War veterans to Washington, D.C. earlier this year.

The Grant County Historical Society will hold its regular monthly meeting at the Ephrata American Legion Post, 276 Eighth Ave NW, Ephrata, at 10:30 a.m.  Lunch will be at noon, with Furman to follow. The public is invited.
