Swing dance planned to raise library funds

| June 5, 2012 6:00 AM

MOSES LAKE – The non-profit Moses Lake Public Library Foundation is planning a swing music dance to raise funds.

According to the MLPLF's Louis Logan (509) 765-7305, the June 22 event of music, dancing and local wine tasting (with beer and non-alcoholic beverages also available) is will held from 7-10 p.m. at the new Moses Lake Civic Center.

The band Swing Shift will play and Jennifer McCarty will sing.  Tickets ($25) may be purchased at the Moses Lake Farmers Market, or at Arts Garden and Andrew Hallmark on Third Avenue, Moses Lake, or at the door.

All proceeds from the dance will go to MLPLF to move Moses Lake closer to the expansion and updating of its overcrowded, out-of-compliance and ill-equipped public library.
