Sub vets to meet

ELLENSBURG - The June meeting of the United States Submarine Veterans (USSVI) of central and eastern Washington will take place Saturday, June 9, at the Bar 14 Ranch House Restaurant in Ellensburg.

Social hour and dinner will begin at 6 p.m. A Memorial Service honoring Submarine crews lost in service to the country will precede the business meeting, which will be followed by door prizes, telling of sea stories, and social time.

One of the topics to be discussed will be the selection of the area parades which the vets will participate in with their new Submarine float, SSN509.
