Readers thank ride participants

The fourth Annual Saddle Up for St. Jude charity trail ride was held May 12 south of Moses Lake. It was a perfect day for spending time with good friends and good horses. Congratulations to Tabby Rowden and Jennifer and Brandon Homan for raising the most donations. All together, Saddle Up riders raised over $1,200 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

We would like to thank all the generous friends who sponsored our riders. People, young and old, benefit from their support of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Our long-time community member, Jeff Dayette, started the Saddle Up for St. Jude rides in our area. Jeff touched many of our lives and this year's event was held in his memory. He will be greatly missed.
