Member sought for Grant County mosquito board

EPHRATA - The Grant County Board of Commissioners is looking for one interested citizen of Grant County to serve on the Grant County Mosquito Control District No. 1 Board of Trustees.
The responsibility of a Board member is to take all necessary or proper steps for the extermination of mosquitoes pursuant to RCW 17.28. The term is for two years and the citizen must reside within the Mosquito District (map of district can be viewed at www.gcmcd1.org)
The Board meets monthly and provides financial oversight of the operations, but does not participate in the daily operations. If you are interested in serving, please submit a letter of interest to the address above by Monday, August 13, 2012.
