High tide downtown

The spectacular thunder/rain storm that raced through South Grant County at mid-day on Friday left Camelia Street in Royal City looking like a river. At Schawana it left the Outpost service station/mini mart without power for a couple of hours. There was no gas pumping, and all in-store transactions were cash. A store customer said he saw lightning strike a transformer on Beverly-Burke Road.
