Bennet back in winner's circle

CRESCENT BAR - Mavis Bennett, who has dominated women's golf the past two years at Crescent Bar Golf Course, has broken her 2012 slump.
Bennett posted a 105 to win low gross in the first division in women's day play on July 17. She also won the game of the day, which was the subtraction of one par from each nine-hole score.
The second division gross winner was Wendy Smith with 111. The net winners were Patty McNaughton with 74 in the first division and Smith with 70 in the second division.
The long drive winners were Mary Woolverton in the first division and Vickie Brissey in the second division.
Elaine Duda won second division closest-to-the-pin with 3-5. There was no KP winner in the first division. Eileen Hoene had a chip-in on hole No. 11.
